Remnant Young Men's Leader Development Group

Helping young men grow into Providers, Protectors, and Servant Leaders in their communities

Why it matters

This world is desperate for leadership.

We need an intentional, focused effort to develop young men into selfless, courageous, resilient leaders of integrity, discernment, and conviction.

My Story

My name is Jim "PK" Pilkauskas.  I spent 30 years on active duty in the US Army as both an enlisted Infantryman and as a commissioned officer. I served in the 82nd Airborne Division, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and the US Army Special Operations Command, and various other units. I retired from active duty in July of 2021 and became a defense contractor supporting USSOCOM.

Three years ago, God gave me a new mission: The Remnant Young Men's Group. Given the impact that young men have on those they interact with, and the even greater impact they will have as adults, a ministry specifically focused on this demographic must be deliberate and strategic in its efforts, especially Leader Development.

I strive every day to be the best husband, father, protector, provider, and servant leader I can be. Though I can do nothing on my own, "I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me."

Incepto ne desistam!  May we not shrink from our purpose.

Leader Development Programs

My intent is to expand our ministry to reach more young men; the fatherless, the troubled, sons of fallen warriors and emergency first responders, those that have fallen through the cracks of society.  Once I have the resources to accomplish this, we will offer weekend camping trips, week-long outdoor education experiences, muti-day hikes, and other opportunities for young men to conduct an "azimuth check" and orient themselves on "True North".

"We need to climb mountains with those we're leading in order to help them gain a renewed sense of the larger landscape of God's purpose.

"Learning from the wilderness metaphor teaches us something, but journeying into the wilderness makes us something." (Dr. Ashley Denton, Christian Outdoor Leadership)

Those who have been impacted

"We're so thankful the Lord has used and continues to use you and your family in the lives of our sons."
